Family Multisig Device Registration
Complete multisig device register setup for family cryptocurrency reserves — hardware inventory, signer roles, and ceremony documentation.
Who This Is For
Families holding cryptocurrency reserves across multiple hardware wallet signers — typically two-of-three or three-of-five configurations — who need a documented register of every device, custodian, firmware version, and derivation path without storing private keys on any server or cloud service.
What You Receive
A bound device register document listing each hardware wallet by serial number, model, firmware version, and assigned custodian. The register includes your multisig quorum configuration, xpub fingerprints for verification, geographic key distribution map, passphrase storage locations (described, never written), and a step-by-step recovery procedure written in plain language for non-technical family members.
Process
Session one (3 hours): We inventory existing devices, verify firmware integrity, confirm derivation paths on each signer, and map custodian responsibilities. You bring all hardware wallets and we work air-gapped.
Between sessions: We draft the register document and send it for family review. Each signer confirms their section independently.
Session two (2 hours): We conduct a test signature on a small amount, verify the register against live devices, and walk through the recovery procedure with all signers present or via secure video for remote participants.
